Costume – A man wearing black with his back towards us facing the house, possibly someone sinister. Setting – A house that appears to stand alone, isolated - typical of the horror genre. Props – Montage of Newspapers indicating what has happened previously. Picture of a boy who possibly was involved. Cigarette is used at the beginning in the montage of newspapers and the man appears to be smoking a cigarette when facing the house. Lighting – Low Key Lighting is used to create a dark, uneasy and menacing atmosphere. Figure behaviour – The man’s figure behaviour is rather unusual, he looks like he has power and he gives of a sinister look.

   Music – It is slow paced which creates a mysterious atmosphere – typical of the genre.
